Through capacity-building activities, farmer training programs, and collaborative decision-making processes, the project seeks to strengthen the resilience and self-reliance of participating families.
- Environmental Conservation: Sustainable coffee production goes hand in hand with environmental conservation. BSDS emphasizes the adoption of practices that minimize environmental impact, such as shade-grown cultivation methods, soil conservation measures, and biodiversity preservation.
- Long-term Impact: By fostering sustainable coffee production practices, BSDS aims to create lasting benefits for both farmers and the environment. The project’s success will contribute to the economic prosperity of coffee-growing communities while preserving the natural resources on which they depend.
